A Distant Shore

Written by: Steve Wright

Beneath a golden sun, shining sails of white,
A child with hair like fire takes flight,
On waves of wind, on a warm summer’s day.

Oh, the wind carries you, away
Into sunset’s warm embrace,
Dreams set sail upon the evening breeze,
Eyes on the horizon, I hope you find your ease.

A canvas of blue, horizon wide,
With fiery spirit, you ride the tide,
Adventure calls you in whispered song,

Oh, the wind carries you, away
Into sunset’s warm embrace,
Dreams set sail upon the evening breeze,
Eyes on the horizon, I hope you find your ease.

Wind carries you away

Guided by stars, a fiery guide,
Through twilight’s glow, you’ll safely glide,
Your spirit wild, a flame upon the sea.

Oh, the wind carries you, away
Into sunset’s warm embrace,
Dreams set sail upon the evening breeze,
Eyes on the horizon, I hope you find your ease.

He Quietly Watched His Last Sunset

Written by: Steve Wright

Watch your thoughts they become your words
Watch your words they become your actions
Watch your actions they become your habits
Watch your habits they become your character
Watch your character it becomes your destiny

Ravenous

Written by: John Heavern

Hunger doesn’t stop to strike a bargain,
Lies in wait to hunt for dear departed.
Something’s gotta’ change, the Power’s failing:
Running off the rails, the planet darkens.

Crises finally comin’,
Time to push the button.
Human Nature is
Ravenous and runnin’.

Money makes and circles fools,
And suddenly The Beast appears:
Influence that breaks the rules,
As competition disappears…

Beast has got to feed a need to have it,
Cash keeps flowing free for them to grab it.
Genocide is happening for prizes,
‘Til it’s grown into a frightening habit.

Hungrily, it’s feeding,
Lots of people bleeding.
Can’t stop, it’s ravenous:
Common Man mistreated.

History has given no solution,
Greed is just a driven institution.
Wage a war of pain on working slaves and
Break the rules in Circles of exclusion.

Clever little boys with
Deadly, vicious voices.
Money’s rope is choking,
With suffocating choices.

Vicious Circles position for a surplus,
Showing no mercy to Nature or Man.
Tragedy eventually serving it’s purpose,
When a Circle has it all in their hands.

They thought this was a ride that was never going to end, it just goes on and on and on and every day, they got more money and they’re counting up their paper profits. And they’re selling and buying and buying and selling and they’re doing great. There’s going to be a crash and the aftermath is going to be quite terrible.

The tremendous crowds which you see gathered outside are due to the greatest crash in the history of the New York Stock Exchange. In brokers’ offices across the country, the small investors, the grocers, the secretaries, stared in numbed silence. Hope of an easy retirement, the new home, their children’s education, everything was gone.

Itchy fingers are playin’ with the trigger,
Money is killing at villainous will.
Lotta’ lies they keep making even bigger:
Never enough to be finally filled.

Hunger wrestles reason,
Greed is in position.
Ravenous, The Beast is
Driven by provision…

Conversations with Old Friends

Written by: Joe Elbee
Written by: France Moretti

With you the words simply flow
They are easy; unguarded
Not rushed, nor hushed
All these words
They are not hard to find
They just come from what’s on my mind

We can share our fears and doubts
Our worries, our woes and what we care about
Friends forever, you can count on one hand
Someone who knows you and understands
When to listen, when to give
When to push and when to let it live

With you the words simply flow
They are easy; unguarded
Not slowly spoken
They’re not rushed, nor hushed
They are not hard to find
They just come from what’s on my mind

I know there’s nothing you wouldn’t do
If I need someone to help me push on through
When I need someone to laugh with
When I need someone to cry with
And now you’re here looking so good
As I thought you would

Can we go back
To those carefree days
When we hung out
In that sweet cafe
All the chats we had
All the walks we took
And all the thoughts that we shared
You are the I can trust to care
You are the one who is always there

With you the words simply flow
They are easy unguarded
Not rushed nor hushed

And I am glad
That someone, just like you
Is someone that I can choose
To be a dear friend to.

A Green Flash at Sunset was the Signal

Written by: Berzan Onen

The time has come
The light has shone
By their hands
Our fate is drawn

Blinded by our endless greed
We could not see our reckoning

Still hope grows..

Deep from the nothing they’ve come to enslave
Seep into darkness I’ll rise again

Never fall
Never fail
Time it calls
Calls my name

Your god I don’t know
No lies I follow

For heaven
Eyes wander
Torn apart
The light, it’s broken

Sign of gods
No more thought
Come follow
Your own kind

Stay with me

Deep from the nothing they’ve come to enslave
Seep into darkness I’ll rise again

Never fall
Never fail
Time it calls
Calls my name

Enter dark..
Cocooned with my kind
Forever I wait
Awaiting for the end of time..

Hope still blooms..

Deep from the nothing they’ve come to enslave
Seep into darkness I’ll rise again

Never fall
Never fail
Time it calls
Calls my name

Your god I don’t know
No lies I follow

We conquered all the eye can see
But came within the enemy

Planned it for centuries
Salvation
Drawing near

We are the Prophets

Deep from the nothing they’ve come to enslave
Seep into darkness I’ll rise again

Never fall
Never fail
Time it calls
Calls my name

From The Mouths Of Dictators

Written by: Steve Wright

The sun rose and we never saw the end that was coming
Reaching out, over the free, clawing up to ascendency

What’re you gonna be when the end comes down
who you gonna be when the end comes down

For ever, and ever, and ever, and ever

From the mouths of dictators
pour lies that poison
From the mouths of dictators
logic defies reason

From the mouths of dictators
freedom will be treason
From the mouths of dictators
words that destroy

One night and we all saw, the end it was over
Sole power, over the state, ignorance breeding hate

What’re you gonna be when the end comes down
who are you gonna be when the end comes down

For ever, and ever, and ever, and ever

From the mouths of dictators
pour lies that poison
From the mouths of dictators
logic defies reason

From the mouths of dictators
freedom will be treason
From the mouths of dictators
words that destroy

When Religion Outgrows Its Messiah

Written by: Jeff Fritz

It was….
It was a very long time ago
Its hard to remember now….
exactly… how it all happened
It was so long ago

It seemed…
It was so simple
It was just…just about love
Loving those around you
I dont know how it went wrong
It all went wrong
Nobody remembers…

Verse 1
The ravens cry.
Sacrificial
Victims die

Take my life
And paint the stones.
Suck the marrow
From my bones.

In lock-step march
Not to be alone.
Take it home

Never listened,
Maybe tried.
All sanctified.

No one listened
Though they cried
Full of corrupted alibis

Chorus
Once you kept your daemons locked
In bones and rocks, stones and locks
Of skulls you kept
In sacred groves
In careful rows
Are all who know

But you forced them from the trees
Into the shadow
You can’t reach them
You can’t help but hear them
You’ve grown weak to listen

Verse 2
So raise the temple
Hide the hole
In the center
Of your soul
Enter One Precocious Child
Temples and eyes awild
Trapped inside your heads

Willing moths
Unto the flame
Into the Presence
Desperate came

Took the sayings
As your own
Stuck the Child
On the throne and twisted what She said

Righteous claims
Misconceptions
Blackened skies
Bad directions

Given to the dead
Trapped inside your heads

Chorus
Once you kept your daemons locked
In bones and rocks, stones and locks
Of skulls you kept
In sacred groves
In careful rows
Are all who know

But you forced them from the trees
Into the shadow
You can’t reach them
You can’t help but hear them
You’ve grown weak to listen

Bridge
Won’t be no savior this time
Y’all on your fuckin own
There won’t be no redemption
When the jackals strip your bones
Don’t think that you’ll be goin to hell
Cuz you’re already livin there
And it’s a place of your own making
And your gods no longer care

What the fuck is wrong with these people?

  • Pastor John – desiringgod.org
  • Creflo Dollar
  • Jesse Duplantis

Chorus
Once you kept your daemons locked
In bones and rocks, stones and locks
Of skulls you kept
In sacred groves
In careful rows
Are all who know

But you forced them from the trees
Into the shadow
You can’t reach them
You can’t help but hear them
You’ve grown weak to listen

When Light Fades Truth Is Revealed

Written by: Mike Mantecon

Etched in the silence
Amongst every stare . . .

All of the voices
So unaware . . .

Searching for answers
Blind in the dark . . .

Finding the secrets
Back at the start . . .

With every reason
To chase the sun . . .

There is a dusk
For every dawn . . .

With every shining
Light from above . . .

Here in the shadows
We hold onto scars . . .

When the light fades
Falling from our grasp
The truth is revealed
To all who dare to ask
All of us messiahs
And all of us a flaw
On the grand tapestry
Imperfect as we are

When the light fades
From our fragile hands
The truth is revealed
Broken as we stand
None of us messiahs
Yet somehow complete
Weaving our lives
On the grand tapestry

Whispered in stillness
Between truth and lie . . .

Wisdom revealed
In tears that we cry . . .

Searching for something
To keep the charade . . .

Leading souls, helpless
To their own graves . . .

Walk through the shadows
but watch where you step

Ask for redemption
was never met

Searching for answers
cries in the dark

Life burns in fear
creating more scars

When your life fades
Falling from your grasp
The truth is revealed
If you take off your mask

None of your messiahs
And all of you are wrong
It’s a grand hypocrisy
Stupid as we are

When the light fades
From our fragile hands
The truth is revealed
Broken as we stand

None of us Messiahs
Yet somehow complete
Living our lives
On the Grand Tapestry.

Inside The Schwarzschild Radius

Written by: Steve Wright

I was drawn in by your darkness
Perhaps that’s a flaw in me
Crossing the boundary was such a thrill
Now I am inside looking out
The cost is becoming clear

Total mass compressed within the sphere
I cannot reach the light
I am hidden from the world
I cannot escape from here

Every hour, every day, its the same
My mind searching for escape
I cannot breathe and yet I am alive
Time has come to a standstill
Yet my life is not infinite

Total mass compressed within the sphere
I cannot reach the light
I am hidden from the world
I cannot escape from here

You steal the energy I create
My mass diminishes atom by atom
Perhaps I should compress myself
I will become my own black hole
I will become my own singularity

Total mass compressed within the sphere
I cannot reach the light
I am hidden from the world
I cannot escape from here

The Arrival

Written by: Janelle Jette

Swindle the makers and the thinkers
Sins of the strangers
Statements to hide all the dangers
Quick re-arrangers

When we know the value of free
then we’ll have gold

Once blind – we can’t see
Twice blind – we can’t read
Tongue tied – we must speak
Ushering new belief prepares the arrival

Kindle the coals of our culture
We’re sleeping no longer
Breakdowns bringing us closer
March on to the future

When we know the value of free
then we’ve found gold

Once blind – we will see
Twice blind – we will read
Tongue tied – we must speak
Ushering new belief prepares the arrival

Victims for the New Colossus
Save the banks cut their losses
Hang the poor upon crosses
Repeat the same old process

When we know the value of free
then we’ve found gold

Once blind – we will see
Twice blind – we will read
Tongue tied – we must speak
Ushering new belief prepares the arrival

This Perfect Day

Written by: Mike Mantecon
(Based on the book This Perfect Day by Ira Levin)

Verse

Bound to this reality
Made to feel, made to see
Content in chains, each day the same
Shown what we are, Meant to be

Chorus

Revealed to me by chance or fate
Something else out there awaits
Shown a flash in a drugged-out haze
Beginning to realize my chains
Grand Vision or tragedy?

When deciding manifests
You must always try to suppress.

Verse

Father used to play a little game
of wanting things
I’m content in chains I cannot break
each day the same
Now I have, begun to see

Chorus

Revealed to me by chance or fate
Something else out there awaits
Shown a flash in a drugged-out haze
Beginning to realize my chains
Grand Vision or tragedy?
Mistake or what’s meant to be

Chanting Vocal Section

Christ, Marx, Wood and Wei
Led us to this perfect day
Marx, Wood, Wei and Christ
All but Wei were sacrificed
Wood, Wei, Christ and Marx
Gave us lovely schools and parks
Way, Christ, Marx and Wood
Made us humble, made us good. Good

Bridge

Oh…Like a vision, far to clear
Everything comes back to me

Verse

Eyes wide open to the fear
I have now, begun to see
I must find a way out
To escape, before the haze returns
I must find a way out
To escape, before reality starts to blur

Chorus

Revealed to me by chance or fate
Something else out there awaits
Shown a flash in a drugged-out haze
Beginning to realize my chains
Grand Vision or tragedy?
Grand Vision or tragedy?

Revealed to me by chance or fate
Something else out there awaits
Shown a flash in a drugged-out haze
Beginning to realize my chains
Grand Vision or tragedy?
Mistake or what’s meant to be?

A Dividing of Cells

Written by: Jayesh Raikar

i’m the one, i am the one
i shall stay pure till the end
i will know and i will grow
i shall manoeuvre each bend
this life has something for me
perseverance makes it grand
but can’t fathom what i see
when some things go out of hand

as i look at them in amazement

the growing crowd
keeps growing loud
but no one’s there
that can be proud
of being a part of you
you can’t avoid
and cannot hide
witness the way
the cells divide
and lose a part of you

i can’t believe, just can’t believe
my body broke into two
mirrors show what you perceive
but what you perceive isn’t you
taken aback, i pull it back
it seems to not want the same
it moves away, so far away
i can’t comprehend this game

as i look at them in amazement

the growing crowd
keeps growing loud
but no one’s there
that can be proud
of being a part of you
you can’t avoid
and cannot hide
witness the way
the cells divide
and lose a part of you

as i look at them in amazement

the growing crowd
keeps growing loud
but no one’s there
that can be proud
of being a part of you
you can’t avoid
and cannot hide
witness the way
the cells divide
and lose a part of you

i learnt from my school of thought
they call it division of cells
and somehow i too forgot
i broke off from someone else
so many versions of me
lost a bit with every gain
i’m amazed at what i could be
but i can’t break myself again

as i look at them in amazement

the growing crowd
keeps growing loud
but no one’s there
that can be proud
of being a part of you
you can’t avoid
and cannot hide
witness the way
the cells divide
and lose a part of you

Wonderland

Written by: Jenny K. Brennan

Gather round, gather round the machine, round the crystal machine.
Play the game of Galaxy.
Your galaxy is mine.
You play the game.
You play the game with the sun in your eyes.

Chain yourself to the mundane.
Liken yourself to one of them God men.
You tried your hand on mystery mindbend.
But then you closed your eyes to Wonderland.

Divvy up the suns so we can play.
Touchdown event horizon.
Ten billion souls, I’ll raise you one.

With eons of stardust in my eyes.
I came by to tell you extension denied.
Your galaxy is mine.
You played the game.
Your galaxy is mine.
You played the game with the sun in your eyes.

You made yourself into the master race.
Liken yourself to some creators mage.
You built some clever brains to save your grace.
But then you close your eys to Wonderland.

Divvy up the suns so we can play.
Touchdown event horizon.
Ten billion souls, I’ll raise you one.

Gather round, around me.
come into me.
and play the game of Galaxy.
Your galaxy is mine.
You played the game.
Your galaxy is mind.
You played the game with the sun in your eyes.
Take your eyes off of Cassiopeia.
Liken her to some heroine never been.
Open your eyes to the times I’ve come and gone.
I’ll show you now to wonderland.

Divvy up the suns so we can play.
Touchdown event horizon.
Ten billion souls, I’ll raise you one.

The Wolves of Winter

Written by: Tracy Hutchison

Our breath is a mist
On a cold winter morning
A fire in our eyes
As the pale sun is dawning

So stand the wolves of winter
A victory for one
A victory for all

Rank upon rank
Warriors stand at the ready
Both sword and shield
In hands strong and steady

So stand the wolves of winter
A victory for one
A victory for all

Falling one by one
Their driving legions lost
Falling two by two
At what a precious cost

A thousand years of peace
Broken upon battle
Driven out by a horde
This broken starving rabble

So stand the wolves of winter
A victory for one
A victory for all

Our blood is a mist
On a cold winter evening
Chill fear in our hearts
As the red moon is rising

Steel against steel
Clashed through the day
Blood runs free
Until the ground is stained

Dusk approaches fast
The last arrows still flying
In the closing mist
Still hear the cries of the dying

Now one last whisper from the dead
As the drummers begin drumming
You may have won this day
But a savage horde is coming
A savage horde is coming

Time is an Empty Space

Written by: Tez Katajala

As we hurtle through space
Faster than the speed of light
Clinging on to life
With the help of gravity
Maybe one day
I’ll get to touch a star
I know how far away they are
There’s a lot of empty space
But space is time

Moving in space time
I get to leave things behind
Grooving on my dime
I get to choose the next line
Time is an empty space
I feel at home

If we leave our lives
That were intertwined
Then we leave
Part of ourselves behind

As we move towards the edge
Of the universe
There’s a lot of empty space out there
Hope there’s space for me

Moving in space time
I get to leave things behind
Grooving on my dime
I get to choose the next line
It feels like the right place
To cure my syndrome

As we hurtle through space
Faster than the speed of light
Clinging on to life
With the help of gravity
If we leave our lives
That were intertwined
Then we leave part of ourselves behind

Moving in space time I get to leave things behind
Things behind
Grooving On my dime I get to choose the next line
The next line, oh
Moving

Pattern Juggler

Written by: Art Melonas

Motion slows, traces glide,
Caution grows deep inside,
People stare, floating trees,
Who I can be.

Hoping to find, the one who doesn’t know.
keeping in mind, the people that I told.

Waves of thoughts flood what’s real,
Noises conflicting, sensors to feel.
Colors that change, contrast exceeding.
Who I can see.

Stretched through my mind, falling from above.
Searching to find, anger from broken love.
Tangled in dreams, slowly becoming clear.
Things rot in dreams, that’s pulling me nowhere.

Twirling through my brain, patterns full of pain,
Seasons without an end, for the juggler.
Panic burns inside fever fills my mind,
Gazes fill my head, for the juggler.
No one will be saved, paid them then he gave,
Patterns of our brain, he’s the pattern

He’s the juggler, there’s no time to waste,
He’s made mistakes, he has no face.

Motions slow, traces glide, cautions grows deep inside.
People stare, floating trees,
who they can see.

Stretched through my mind, falling from above.
Searching to find, anger from broken love.
Tangled in dreams, slowly becoming clear.
Rotted dead screams, there pulling me nowhere.

No Hero for the People

Written by: Mike Mantecon – adapted by Jenny K. Brennan

I never asked.
To be the chosen one.
To satisfy your thirst.
In this blessing gone curse.

And it’s only begun.

I am your hero.
At the point of a gun.
I tried to say no.
But this can’t be undone.

I was given.
The weight of your world.
But not a chance to say yes.
Let alone say no.

I am your hero I had no fucking choice.
You call upon me but you’re nothing but noise.
I am your hero, I have no answers for you.
I have no voice.

How can I tell you I have no voice.
When you fall I step right over you.
When you call I scream right over you.
I am no savior.

I am no hero for the people.
I am no savior.
What do you want from me?
When you break I step right over you.
When you call I scream right over you.
I am no hero.
To call upon.
I can’t be the one.
To call upon.

All that I ask is that you let me be.
Let me go my way to be me.
Never say again.
That I should take your hands to save you.
I won’t hear you.

Now I am your villain.
At the point of a gun.
For all I am not.
For all I haven’t done.

I was given.
To you to sacrifice.
All that I am.
All that I am.
But don’t you understand, I’m no lamb so let me be.

I am your villain I had no fucking choice.
You call me villain but all I hear is noise.
I am your villain for letting you save yourself.

Like all of your villains I’m torn apart.
Like all of your heroes I have no name.
I’m your need, I’m your want.
I never wanted this to even begin.
It’s got to end and it ends now.
Let me be clear.
Let it be told.
I found my voice.
This is getting old.
I’ve got your number you’ve got no fucking choice.
I’m not anyone’s hero.

Mother of Horus

Written by: Joel Sattler

the mother of Horus was daughter of Earth
daughter of Sky throne to the child
her blood was the wind that carried the hawk
her tears were the waters of the Nile

she married her brother Osiris and with him
conceived what was never before
the god of the hunt the god of blood
the god of all Egypt the god of war

Isis Isis
goddess goddess
now that you’ve gone
is the world safe
is the world better?
history is long
longer than long
the night has no bottom
and time goes on forever

the mother tricked Ra into telling her
the secret most secret of his name by rote
the snake of the world bit him on the throat
and only she had the antidote

and so all his power then came to her
and she had all power in universe
the mother of Horus looked down and laughed
and the Greeks and the Romans did fear her curse

her milk was the cure to cure all pain
to cure all ill to cure all death
the wounds of the warriors went away
when she leaned down to share her breath

Isis became the queen of heaven
and ruled the stars by royal decree
none shall be higher none shall be wiser
no one shall see what they can not see

but that was all over so long ago
the gods became weaker and disappeared
and so we replaced them with stronger gods
the limitless science and infinite fear

Isis Isis
goddess goddess
now that you’ve gone
is the world safe
is the world better?
history is long
longer than long
the night has no bottom
and time goes on forever

Marching Slowly Onward

Part I Mission Control – Mike Sherman

Ok at ten minutes, Ron, I’ll be about 40
Seventeen, the steering has converged Roger
The CMC is 60, 10 minutes, and at zero zero
Roger Houston you are a go for orbit
Go for orbit
Ok coming up on thirty Ron
Double checking everything
Thirty, 347 degrees, 93.5
Ok we’re as a little bit high
Ok we’re as a little bit high
Ok we’re as a little bit high

Part II – Sir Stephen Hawking

The discovery of the new world
Made a profound difference to the old
Spreading out into space will have an even greater effect
It would unite us to face a common challenge
And cause us to look outwards rather than inwards
It will completely change the future of the human race
And maybe determine whether we have any future at all

Part III – The Ensemble (written by Steve Wright)

Marching slowly onward
Uncertainty yawns before us
Death the only absolute

Marching slowly onward
All is not one system
ultimate truth can never be reached

Marching slowly onward
The lamp of truth only shines
Out of the gloom of error

Marching slowly onward
The winds of truth
Blow away the veil of magical mists

Marching slowly onward
Self-destroyers left behind
Strangled by their single truth

Uncertainty yawns before us
Death the only absolute
yet we are marching slowly onward

We are Marching Slowly Onward

La Souris

Written by: Delphine Andre

jouet temporaire
d’une fille facile
tu croyais me posséder
à ce jeu qui va gagner
entre ombre et pénombre
les chats sont gris

Si après tout ça
tu n’as toujours pas compris

Drift

Written by: Parmia Vaala

You think you rule your flow but you fight
You struggle you don’t see the pain in your mind

You aim upstream

To learn to swim at all
To learn to swim at all
To swim
To learn to swim at all
Learn
Learn
But it hurts to force yourself upstream

All your power, your existence is in shiver
You try to win and you try to rule the river

You aim upstream
All that you’ve learnt
All that you want
What you expect
What you demand
All you desire
All that you see and hear
What you know

It is a flow, only in your mind, only in your mind
You swim and you dance and you swim and you dance
In your river
You pretender

You go counter-flow

Spreading your arms
Letting it guide you

The picture the plan
The wholeness of man
Revealing its truth
To you if you choose
To go with the flow
And finally know
It’s over under

All your power, your existence is in shiver
You try to win and you try to rule the river
You aim upstream
All that you’ve learnt
All that you want
What you expect
What you demand
All you desire
All that you see and hear
What you know

It is a flow, only in your mind, only in your mind
You swim and you dance and you swim and you dance
In your river
But if you
Let it go, let it go, let it go

Shining a Light into Dark Spaces

Written by: Mike Patterson

You once wished for light into that place
Shadowy spaces laid bare to see
Vanquish the dark so I can see your face
Bask in your glow till made whole finally

Your unflinching gaze has set the seas to boil and wasted the soil
The field is up in flames

Oh, you never knew that this disaster started because of you,
for ever after
We’ll remember this day

You shined that light into all the dark places until comfortable spaces were bleached from our sight

Oh, you never knew that this disaster started because of you,
for ever after
We’ll remember this day

The eternal day a sea we have to cross
Shed along the way the ones who played and lost
But the waves are reaching higher, churning
The trees were lost to fire, burning
The stars are vanishing

Seasons…
Burning
The shadows are returning!

Once the coldness of blight recedes we see it’s a new day

When the blanket of night returns it’s less of an epitaph than the rebirth of light to burn with a purpose
If a lesson is never found at least it’s not hurting now
Still, something’s behind the shroud
So turn the lights up again!!!!!
